 We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Recruitment and Sales Account Executive. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for recruiting top talent while also playing a pivotal role in expanding our client base through effective sales and account management strategies. Responsibilities

Recruitment:

• Source, screen, and engage with candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for various job roles.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to attract top-tier talent.

Sales and Marketing:

• Identify and target prospective client companies through market research and networking.
• Engaging in both door-to-door visits and targeted cold calling to reach potential client companies.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to attract new client partnerships.
• Present our services to potential clients, showcasing our expertise in recruitment and staffing solutions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and presentations.
• Attend industry events and conferences to expand your network and promote our services.

Account Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients as their primary point of contact.
• Understand clients' staffing needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and continued collaboration.
• Proactively address any issues or concerns to maintain long-lasting partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or account management roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment software and CRM tools is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for building relationships and contributing to the growth of both candidates' careers and client companies.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred

The Sales Associate is a critical role on the sales floor as he/she is on the front line and the direct link between the Product and the Customer.  Sales Associates deliver a seamless customer experience as exceptional people delivering an exceptional product, building customer loyalty and relationships while delivering sales and productivity targets. 

The role of the Sales Associate is to adhere to and achieve high quality of retailing standards. The Sales Associate will act as a representative of Hermes and will strive for maximum sales results and excellent quality of customer service. This role reports to the Product Sales Manager/Team Leader.

Job Description:

Selling

• Assists customers in selecting, purchasing, refunding merchandise within his/her designated Sales Area (as assigned by a manager) while demonstrating excellence in customer service at all times.
• Treats all goods, regardless of value, with care and present to the customer with the highest level of respect.
• Completes accurate sales transactions in a professional, timely manner.
• Informs customers of necessary and relevant information, as applicable.
• Assists in developing a clientele base through Platinum Services Club (PSC) and other relationship building activities.

Customer Experience

• Proactively seeks to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Maintains a smart and well-groomed appearance (as outlined in the company Policy) in full company uniform to convey a professional image of self-confidence and competence.
• Consistently applies the company Apprentice to Master behaviors including identifying customers’ temperaments and flexing to their style.

Floor and Product Presentation

• Demonstrates product features and special product information. 
• Ensures floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and  requirements. 
• Maintains stock levels of all merchandise in the department. 
• Familiar with store layout and direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriate.
• Assists the management team in the coordination and execution of all team merchandising activities, including inventory management, presentation quantities, promotional activities and merchandise stock flow. 

Teamwork

• Works cooperatively with co-workers to accomplish sales and service objectives.
• Assists other sales staff in periods of peak demand to ensure that customers in all areas are attended to promptly and efficiently, with waiting time reduced to a minimum.
• May also be assigned outside of their designated sales area as necessary to ensure proper store coverage and/or customer service levels.
• Takes action to problem solve or effectively communicate to the managers for assistance.
• Provides manager with customer feedback.
• Treats all management and fellow team-members with respect to support a healthy and positive team environment.

General 

• Plans and participates in physical inventory counts, including overnight shifts as assigned.
• Maintains light housekeeping, ensuring retail areas and store rooms are neat, clean, hazard-free and dust-free.

• Adheres to policies and procedures as directed and required by company management and airport and customs regulations.

The Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor (HRA) works in partnership with other Human Resources Centre of Excellence teams and provides professional human resources services and advice to store management in areas including but not limited to talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management. The job incumbent functions as a change agent, communicating proactively between our Human Resources Centre of Excellence, store management, and employees, and delivering value-added services to the Company.

Major Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, HRA participates in and administer major activities of the full talent acquisition cycle for the designated stores, from manpower needs to new employee on-boarding and orientation.
• Working closely with the Employee Relations team, HRA organizes/hosts periodic staff forums and maintain communication amongst all stakeholders, support employee disciplinary and grievance case handling, deal with workplace health and safety issues including workplace inspection, injury reporting, claim management and return-to-work, conduct exit interviews, etc.
• Working closely with the Compensation & Benefits team, HRA supports the administration of various employee benefits plans/programs, employee performance review, annual salary review, employee attendance and leave, and provides/verifies data required for payroll processing.
• Keep track of and follow up on employee probation, expiration of contract and work permit, employee movements including transfer, promotion/demotion, pay change, etc.
• Answer employee inquiries relevant to human resources related issues; support the filing of benefits claims, W-2 tax form, employment certification, etc.
• Maintain proper filing of human resources related documents; support employees and store management in using the human resources system for staff management.
• Ensure human resources policies are properly understood and adhered to; provide appropriate guidance and interpretation as and when required; contribute to the improvement of employee and management relationship; help building employee morale.
• Perform any other duties as assigned; participate and support human resources projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

• Priority will be given to candidates with experience in food business and supermarket chain business
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or related disciplines; a human resources designation is an asset
• 3-5 years’ human resources generalist experience, preferably in the Retail or supermarkets or restaurants or manufacturing or warehouse/logistics
• Working knowledge in multiple human resources disciplines, such as talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, diversity & culture, performance management, etc.; familiar with relevant state employment laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and under minimum supervision
• Good office/computer skills in processing documents and filing
• Experience in the food industry and supermarket chain industry

Shifts & Travel:

• 5 days’ work week (Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly)
• Long hours and/or weekend work required occasionally
• Local travelling between designated stores and headquarter required
• Training in B.C., Canada: 2-3 weeks (Accommodation, Air tickets are provided)

• Overseeing quotes from agents
• Overlook at least 5-10 employees
• Develop and manage successful relationships with local suppliers and other co-load carriers (for example, airline agents, freight forwarders, customs brokers, local pickup and delivery firms, regional trucking companies, and line-haul providers)

 Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of management experience
• At least 5+ years of experience in Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding
• Strong experience managing activity for all phases of US export & import, air, road, and ocean shipping
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations at the state, federal, and international levels
